Roth Capital Partners hosted its 34th Annual Conference back entirely in-person at The Ritz Carlton in Dana Point, California after meeting virtually the past two years.

The three-day flagship investor conference took place from March 13-15, 2022, and brought together senior executives from approximately 500 private and public companies whose sectors ranged from AgTech, Consumer, Energy, Health & Wellness, Healthcare, Industrial Growth, Metals and Mining, Sustainability, Services, and Technology.

This year’s conference played host to enlightening one-on-one management meetings, virtual fireside chats with experienced industry analysts as well as a series of thematic industry panels, and on-demand presentations by companies that chose to pre-record them. The conference also featured two “New Issue Tracks” —presentations from 60 companies that have gone public during the past two years via IPO or merger with a SPAC, with many presenting their companies to investors on a live basis for the first time.

The Roth Conference offered us an exciting opportunity to meet and interact with financial professionals over a donut and our models. We enjoyed the event’s unparalleled ability to bring together a unique network of high-quality investors along with a carefully curated set of small & mid-cap companies operating at the very cutting edge of their respective sectors. The possibility to catch up with old friends and make new ones in sunny California was energizing and a welcome break from connecting over our screens.

“Our conferences have always been relationship-driven, enabling emerging growth companies from a broad range of industries to meet and interact with interested investors,” said  Byron Roth, Chairman and CEO of Roth Capital Partners. “After meeting virtually for the last two years, we’re delighted to welcome our participating small and mid-cap companies and our attending institutional investors back to our annual conference to meet each other face-to-face on personal and business levels.”

As an event sponsor of the event, Canalyst was happy to offer free models to attendees of the 121 presenting companies within our coverage universe.

We’re grateful to have experienced the conference’s unique blend of work and play that allowed us to build deeper connections and share our story in a meaningful way. Hope we see you there in 2023!
